This announcement comes following the release of ‘Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped),’ marking the tenth anniversary of her original holiday album. Released on December 12, the new edition includes timeless tracks alongside a selection of fresh favorites.
In a recent interview, Minogue described the project as “ambitious,” reflecting on the timing after her Tension tour and offering a tribute to her holiday legacy. “This record, or some of the songs on the original record, are in people’s homes and hearts, and it rolls around every year,” she shared. Minogue also characterized the process of revisiting her holiday music as “so much fun” and a “beautiful experience.”
As for future holiday albums, Minogue indicated a potential interest. “Let’s see how I get through this one,” she remarked, suggesting she may explore new interpretations of her work. “I could imagine maybe doing something slightly different with what I have,” she noted, hinting at possibilities for a full orchestral version or an intimate performance collection.

In addition to the four new tracks on ‘Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped),’ Minogue mentioned that there are “two others that we’d love to flesh out at some point.” As Minogue contemplates her musical future, she expressed interest in exploring new genres, particularly noting a fondness for mellow indie-folk sounds. “I quite like an indie-folk playlist, just something that’s quite mellow and tuneful,” she stated.
In her typically succinct manner, she added, “I won’t say too much more,” leaving fans eagerly anticipating her next musical endeavor.
