Nick Jonas is poised for his solo comeback. During an intimate Sunday Best Brunch at his family-owned Nellie’s Southern Kitchen in Las Vegas, he introduced his new album Sunday Best, as reported by Setlist.fm.
The album marks his first release in nearly five years, set to drop on February 6. In front of 170 attendees, Jonas performed several tracks live for the first time during the event.
Jonas was joined by Daniel Wall of Behind the Wall, where they discussed the album’s inspirations and creative process. The record includes collaborations with JP Saxe, Josette Maskin of MUNA, Blush, and Ryan Daly.
According to a press release, the album “dives deeper than ever before,” pulling from significant personal experiences over the last year and reflecting his growth as a husband and father. Jonas expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years. And while this album was made over the course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making.”

As he prepared to perform “I Need You,” Jonas responded to an audience prompt about describing the new album. “I would ask them if they knew what love is, what it really is,” he noted. “If they said yes, I would say, ‘Then you know what the album sounds like.'” Following this heartfelt introduction, he transitioned into a rendition of “Jealous,” accompanied by a choir, connecting with long-time followers of his solo work.
Nick and his brothers Joe and Kevin have been on tour since August as part of their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, celebrating two decades as a band with their recent album, Greetings From Your Hometown, released August 8.
