Baron Davis Talks 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend as Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard Selected
INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Baron Davis recently joined GDLA+ to discuss the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend slated for February 15, 2026, in Los Angeles. Davis, a two-time All-Star during his 13-year career, highlighted the significance of this event for the city.
In a noteworthy announcement, the Los Angeles Clippers will finally secure player representation in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, with Kawhi Leonard selected to participate. This selection comes shortly after Leonard’s omission from the primary event, which has heightened the excitement as the game approaches.
This marks Leonard’s seventh appearance in the All-Star selections, allowing him to represent Clipper Nation in front of local fans at the 75th NBA All-Star Game, to be hosted at the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
Leonard has been instrumental in turning around what started as a troubling 2025-2026 season for the Clippers. After an early record of 5-12, the team has seen a resurgence, improving to 23-26, which positions them in a favorable spot for the play-in tournament if the season were to end today.
As of now, Leonard boasts an impressive average of 27.6 points per game, marking a career high, along with 6.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. His performance is pivotal as the Clippers aim for greater success in the months ahead, underlining his role as a key leader for the team.
