Hesperia Truck Driver Arrested in Child Sex Case; Authorities Believe More Victims May Be Involved
Investigators Seek Additional Victims Following Arrest of Truck Driver for Child Sex Crimes
Authorities in Hesperia have released the photograph of a truck driver arrested on suspicion of committing child sex crimes, prompting investigators to believe that there may be more victims.
Adair Fernando Garcia-Sanchez, 30, was apprehended on April 23, 2026, when detectives from the Hesperia Police Station executed a search warrant at a residence on Pinewood Drive around 11:23 a.m.
The arrest followed an active investigation in Nebraska, where authorities had issued a warrant for Garcia-Sanchez. During the inquiry, deputies learned that a juvenile residing in Nebraska had allegedly been victimized by him while he was in Hesperia in 2024.
Garcia-Sanchez is currently facing charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a child. Investigators point to his occupation as a long-distance truck driver as a potential factor in the existence of additional victims.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have been victimized or who possesses information about the case to reach out to the Hesperia Police Station. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous can contact We-Tip at 844-909-3006.
