Helen Hunt marked a significant milestone in her relationship with boyfriend Jeffrey Nordling, celebrating their fourth anniversary on January 24. The 62-year-old Oscar-winning actress shared a photo on Instagram featuring the couple enjoying a wind-swept selfie while donning coordinating aviator sunglasses.
“…and now we’re 4,” Hunt captioned the image, punctuated with a red heart emoji.

Reflecting on her relationship with Nordling, Hunt revealed last year that they had previously dated in 1988 before their paths crossed again. “We dated in 1988!” she disclosed during a June 2025 interview with Flow Space. “I’ve never really talked about that. And I always thought he was lovely and sweet and talented and dreamy.” She noted that they both had very different lives for decades but serendipitously found each other once more.

The couple, who starred together in the 1988 TV movie Shooter, made their official red carpet debut at the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s 20th Anniversary Gala honoring architect Frank Gehry in 2023. Prior to this public appearance, they had begun sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media, with photos dating back to May 2022.

In a playful showcase of their sports rivalry, Hunt posted a picture in March 2025 of the pair at Dodger Stadium, wearing caps for their respective teams. “Happy Birthday Darling,” she captioned the image. Another post in March 2024 captured them sharing burgers at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where she expressed her appreciation for their time together.
Nordling also paid tribute to Hunt on her 62nd birthday in June 2025, sharing a tender photo of the couple on a boat and writing, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS SPECTACULAR CREATURE ….. you are the 🐝’s knees @helenhunt.”
