‘He Said, She Said’ Podcast Joins Staying Relevant Productions: What It Means for Our Listeners
Production Company Acquires Rights to Popular Podcast
Staying Relevant Productions, co-founded by reality TV personalities Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks, has secured the rights to the podcast He Said, She Said. The show is hosted by Thompson’s sister, Louise Thompson, and her partner, Ryan Libbey.
As of today, Staying Relevant Productions will take over production and distribution of the podcast, which was previously managed by indie podcast production house Astrid. The specific financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Staying Relevant Productions is notably recognized for its own podcast of the same name, where Sam Thompson and Wicks explore the lengths celebrities go to maintain their public image. This podcast has achieved significant success, accumulating over 20 million downloads and winning the Podcast of the Year award at the 2025 TRIC Awards.
Sam Thompson expressed enthusiasm about the transition, stating, “This year we are going even bigger and better so we couldn’t be happier to start 2026 by officially announcing He Said, She Said is now with Staying Relevant Productions. Louise and Ryan have created such a brilliant podcast, with a loyal, dedicated audience, so we can’t wait to take it to new heights under our own production company. I am absolutely buzzing to be working with my sister, and Ryan. To have both of our podcasts under one roof is such a special feeling. The sky’s the limit in terms of our podcast productions so watch this space.”
The He Said, She Said podcast features Louise Thompson and Libbey, who discuss the complex issues that arise in relationships. Louise Thompson commented on the move, saying, “I’m so excited to be moving He Said, She Said to Staying Relevant Productions. The podcast has always been about real conversations, told with honesty, humour, and heart, and this feels like the perfect home for its next chapter. Working with my brother’s team means we get to level up creatively, while keeping everything that makes the show feel intimate, unfiltered, and genuinely us.”
All key individuals involved in the agreement previously appeared on British reality television—Louise and Sam Thompson, along with Libbey, were featured on Made in Chelsea, while Wicks starred on The Only Way is Essex. The team has since expanded into content creation, TV presenting, and podcasting, with Staying Relevant Productions achieving over 30 million views on Instagram and 16 million views on TikTok.
Moving forward, the Staying Relevant Productions team will develop and execute a new social media strategy for He Said, She Said, aiming to enhance the podcast’s digital presence.
