Grey’s Anatomy Welcomes Jen Landon and Sara Paxton to Season 22 Cast
EXCLUSIVE: ABC’s long-running series Grey’s Anatomy is set to introduce an additional character, as Yellowstone alumna Jen Landon is cast to recur in the latter half of Season 22. She will appear in four consecutive episodes as Dr. Toni Wright. Simultaneously, Sara Paxton is confirmed for a two-episode arc portraying Leticia, a relative of a patient. Both characters will make their first appearances in episode 2211.
Dr. Toni Wright, played by Landon, will join Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as a plastic surgeon attending. Her impressive credentials and innovative approach are anticipated to both impress and intimidate her colleagues. While she is meticulous in the operating room, Dr. Wright brings a vibrant enthusiasm to her interactions with patients and students. Outside of her professional duties, she struggles with organization, often embracing life’s chaos and opting for spontaneity.
The tradition of plastic surgery at Grey Sloan continues with characters like Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) and Jackson Avery (Jessie Williams). This season, the focus on the specialty has been reignited with the introduction of recurring character Kavita (Anita Kalathara) and Kwan (Harry Shum Jr.), who are also exploring this field while developing their own storylines.
Sources indicate that, much like other characters introduced at Grey Sloan, there exists the potential for Landon’s character to appear in additional episodes beyond the initial four.
Leticia, portrayed by Paxton, arrives at Grey Sloan with her brother Corban (Connor Price), who is again hospitalized, leaving her feeling disheartened. Both actors will be featured in episodes 2011 and 2012.
Landon, recognized for her role as Teeter in Yellowstone, has recently starred in Max Barbarkow’s film Brothers and Jason Reitman’s The Front Runner, along with appearances in series such as Animal Kingdom, FBI: Most Wanted, and Helstrom. She is represented by Vault Entertainment, Jerico Management, and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof & Fishman.
Paxton can currently be seen in Zach Cregger’s horror film Weapons and has a recurring role in Season 2 of Peacock’s Based On A True Story. Additionally, she played a supporting role in Andrew Dominik’s film Blonde. Paxton is represented by Gersh, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
