The critically acclaimed HBO Max series The Pitt features Noah Wyle as Dr. Robby and Katherine LaNasa as Nurse Dana Evans, both characters who are deeply committed to their professions. However, beyond their roles on-screen, the actors place a higher priority on their family lives.
LaNasa’s performance earned her the 2025 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. During her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude not only to her cast and crew but pointedly acknowledged her family. “Lastly, my children for making me real,” she stated, mentioning her son, Henry, and daughter, Eloise. She also recognized her husband, Grant Show, for his unwavering support.
Wyle echoed similar sentiments when he received the Golden Globe for Best Male Actor in a Drama Series in January 2026. He thanked his wife and children, saying, “I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way. I’m so grateful for this." The following day, he shared a heartfelt Instagram post featuring his new award alongside a handmade “best dad” trophy, remarking, “What an incredible night. My heart is full.”
Parenthood weighs heavily in the lives of many cast members beyond Wyle and LaNasa. Here’s a closer look at the children of the The Pitt cast.

A year later, they welcomed a daughter named Frances on June 22, 2015.
Wyle has noted that parenthood has greatly influenced his career decisions, explaining, “My tastes changed radically after my son was born… I suddenly was very conscious of the things that my kids would be watching their father do or say.”
His children do not watch ER, the series that launched his career, but both older kids tune in for The Pitt, and all three express their pride in their father’s work. Wyle shared, “It’s been really beautiful to see my kids be proud of me and to have this be meaningful for them.”
