First Look at Johnny Knoxville and Friends in the Final “Jackass” Trailer
The first trailer for Jackass: Best And Last has been released, teasing audiences with what is set to be the final chapter in the iconic slapstick stunt comedy series.
Slated for release on June 26, this film marks the fifth installment of a franchise that began with the MTV series Jackass, created by Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze, which aired from 2000 to 2001. The show featured a cast of performers—including Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Bam Margera, and the late Ryan Dunn—who executed increasingly daring stunts infused with a DIY, skate-punk spirit.
Returning for the series finale are familiar faces such as Steve-O, Pontius, England, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), and Preston Lacy. New additions include Ehren McGhehey, Poopies (Sean McInerney), Zach Holmes, Jasper, Dark Shark (Compston Wilson), and Rachel Wolfson.
Jackass first hit the big screen in 2002 with Jackass: The Movie, which earned over $79 million worldwide against a modest budget. The franchise continued with Jackass Number Two (2006), Jackass 3D (2010), and, most recently, Jackass Forever (2022), which introduced a new generation of stunt artists and grossed over $80 million globally. Spinoff projects like Bad Grandpa have contributed to the franchise’s impressive total of more than $500 million at the box office to date.
