Cisco Henson, President of Production at Nacelle Company, Passes Away at 61
Cisco Henson, the esteemed president of production at Nacelle Company, has passed away at the age of 61. His death on Monday was due to glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, and he was surrounded by family and loved ones during his final moments.
A two-time Emmy-nominated producer, Henson boasted an impressive résumé with over 300 credits throughout his more than 35-year career. He was instrumental in producing numerous stand-up specials, including debut hour-long performances for stars such as Dave Chappelle, Ali Wong, Tom Segura, and Tiffany Haddish. His work extended across various platforms, including Netflix, Disney+, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, Peacock, Showtime, and Tubi.
Aizita Magaña, Henson’s wife, reflected on his character, stating, “He really cared about the work, but he cared even more about helping others. His legacy is the comedy he gave to the world, and his family, friends, and colleagues are forever enriched by his presence in their life.”
Brian Volk-Weiss, founder and CEO of Nacelle Company, expressed his deep appreciation for Henson’s impact, saying, “I had the honor and pleasure of working with Cisco for 14 years. Few people have made me laugh more or harder, and it goes without saying that Nacelle would not be where it is without him. I miss him very much, and I know I can say that on behalf of the whole company as well as his many, many friends. He was a great man, colleague, friend, father, and husband. We are all vastly better off for knowing him.”
Henson is survived by his wife Aizita and their two children.
