Firefighters Save Cane Corso Puppy Stuck Between Block Walls
Firefighters Rescue Puppy Trapped Between Walls on New Year’s Day
A 9-month-old Cane Corso named Sky faced a challenging start to the year after becoming wedged between two block walls in Lancaster. The playful puppy found himself in a predicament, trapped for several hours in a mere six inches of space.
Upon receiving the distress call, firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 134 quickly responded. Equipped with special tools, they worked diligently to extricate Sky from his tight position. Following his rescue, the puppy was examined by medical professionals from the Lancaster Animal Care Center to ensure his well-being.
Unfortunately for Sky, his owner decided to surrender him after discovering that he needed to be neutered. The Lancaster Animal Care Center later announced this decision via a Facebook post and confirmed that Sky would remain in their care for observation.
For those interested in Sky’s status, his identification number is A5747256, and updates regarding his potential availability for adoption or rescue can be found on the Los Angeles County Animal Care website.
