Exciting News: The Trailer for Season 3 of ‘Good Omens’ is Here!
Prime Video’s Good Omens Season 3 Finale Trailer Released
The much-anticipated conclusion of Prime Video’s Good Omens is nearing, as the trailer for its Season 3 finale has been unveiled. The climax will take the form of a single, 90-minute episode, setting the stage for an intense resolution.
The trailer picks up where Season 2 concluded, following Aziraphale and demon Crowley as they embark on their most personal adventure to date. Their friendship has been strained since Aziraphale, portrayed by Michael Sheen, accepted a return to Heaven, leaving Crowley, played by David Tennant, in a precarious position. Now serving as the Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale faces the weighty responsibility of overseeing the Second Coming.
Returning to the cast for Season 3 are Sheen and Tennant, alongside Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Derek Jacobi as The Metatron. Newcomer Bilal Hasna joins the ensemble as Jesus.
However, the release of Season 3 was delayed due to various allegations against show creator Neil Gaiman, which he denies. Gaiman contributed to the final episode but stepped back from further involvement in the production. Consequently, the season transitioned from multiple episodes to the singular finale. Another Gaiman project for Prime Video, Anansi Boys, is still awaiting its premiere.
Executive producers for Good Omens include Rob Wilkins from Narrativia, representing Terry Pratchett’s estate; BBC Studios Comedy’s Chief Creative Officer, Josh Cole; and director Rachel Talalay. Producers Sarah-Kate Fenelon and Chris Newman round out the creative team.
