Ellyn Jameson Joins Cast of ‘Marshals’ Opposite Luke Grimes
Ellyn Jameson, known for her role in Barry, has been cast in a significant recurring role in the first season of Marshals, a spinoff of Yellowstone created by Taylor Sheridan. She will portray Dolly Weaver, the daughter of a rancher.
The series follows Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, as he transitions from the Yellowstone Ranch to an elite unit of U.S. Marshals. The plot centers on his efforts to deliver justice in Montana, utilizing his skills as both a cowboy and a Navy SEAL. He, along with teammates Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos), and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means), must navigate the psychological toll of their responsibilities while maintaining their family ties. For Kayce, this includes his son Tate (Brecken Merrill) and friends Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) and Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) from the Broken Rock reservation.
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, Marshals features an executive production team that includes Sheridan, David Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Spencer Hudnut, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Luke Grimes, and Greg Yaitanes.
The series is set to premiere on Sunday, March 1, at 9 PM on CBS, and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
Jameson has previously made appearances in the final season of HBO’s Barry. She is represented by CESD and Trademark Talent.
