This past weekend, Grammy-winning artist Ed Sheeran captivated an audience at the Asia Roma karaoke bar in New York City with an impromptu rendition of his hit song “Perfect.” Sheeran, 34, shared the moment with actor Tom Felton, best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series.
Videos posted on social media show Sheeran, wearing merchandise from his album *Play* along with a New York Yankees cap, passionately singing the 2017 chart-topper into a microphone.
Glasses of beer were visible on the bar in front of both musicians, with Felton recording the performance. Sheeran encouraged the bartender to join in, saying, “You gotta sing it, too!”
This lively karaoke session occurred shortly after Sheeran’s headline performance at the Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden on December 12. During that show, he performed several of his hits including “Shivers,” “Shape of You,” and “Bad Habits.”
Felton, 38, is currently reprising his role as Malfoy in *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child* on Broadway. Meanwhile, Sheeran’s latest album, *Play*, was released in September. Last month, he unveiled a “super deluxe” version of the album featuring 14 additional songs.

Sheeran commented on the creative process for his latest album, saying, “It was so hard to choose the songs for this album… There are 14 songs that aren’t on the main album, which is kind of an album in itself.” He expressed gratitude for the support he has received in what he describes as a remarkable year of creativity.
