Colman Domingo Shares Exciting Insights About Season 3 of Euphoria and Its Unique Approach to Storytelling
As anticipation builds for the third season of HBO/A24’s Euphoria, slated for release in April 2026, star Colman Domingo has provided intriguing insights into the upcoming installment, describing it as “more cinema than television.”
Domingo, who plays Ali Muhammed, Rue’s sponsor in the series, indicated that Season 3 will delve deeper into his character’s background. “I think you get to look at the building blocks of Ali. I think you may get a little bit of his origin story, which I think is great, and so you can understand why Ali is who he is,” he explained.
Returning cast members for the new season include Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, and Hunter Schafer. They will be joined by newcomers Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry, who are being promoted from recurring roles, as well as Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace.
The cast expansion also features Rosalía, Sharon Stone, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten. Additionally, Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Dominic Fike, Melvin Bonez Estes, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steine will reprise their roles in the upcoming season.
In a significant shift for the series, the characters will leave high school for the first time, as the narrative will include a five-year time jump. A teaser released last month showcased Rue confronting “a ruthless kingpin,” a role played by Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
