Christina Aguilera’s Holiday Special Coming to CBS
CBS to Feature Holiday Special Starring Christina Aguilera
CBS is embracing the festive season with the upcoming holiday special, Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris. This event celebrates the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s holiday album, My Kind of Christmas.
The special is set to air on Monday, December 22, at 9 p.m. It will follow a two-night theatrical debut that commenced on December 14, with additional showings on December 21. The program is accompanied by a live performance album titled Christmas in Paris.
Filmed before a small audience atop the Musée du Quai Branly, the special showcases Aguilera performing a selection of holiday classics alongside her well-known hits, all set against the enchanting backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, creatively adorned to resemble a Christmas tree. The event features appearances by special guests Sheila E. and Yseult. Throughout the performance, Aguilera also shares her insights on love, motherhood, and her career milestones.
Produced by Vertigo Live in collaboration with Roc Nation, the special is directed by Sam Wrench, who also serves as an executive producer through his Next of Kin banner, established in partnership with EverWonder Studio.
Viewers will find Christina Aguilera: Christmas in Paris making its debut just after the second part of the Everybody Loves Raymond 30th Anniversary reunion, which airs at 8 p.m. that same night.
