Cast Photos from Season 1 of ‘Nation’s Dumbest’: JoJo Siwa, Hilaria Baldwin, Ice-T, Chase Hudson, and More Join the Fun on Fox
Fox has announced the cast and premiere date for its upcoming celebrity competition series, Nation’s Dumbest. The show, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, offers a unique twist on traditional competition formats, where contestants aim to lose rather than win.
Nation’s Dumbest is scheduled to debut this summer on Wednesday, July 15, at 9 p.m. ET on Fox. The inaugural season boasts a diverse cast, including television personality Hilaria Baldwin, actress and model Carmen Electra, actor Anthony Michael Hall, actor Jon Heder, musician Chase Hudson, rapper Ice-T, singer-songwriter Elle King, former NFL quarterback Matt Leinart, television personality and physician Dr. Drew Pinsky, stunt performer and comedian Steve-O, performer JoJo Siwa, and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.
The format of Nation’s Dumbest has previously seen success in international markets. Each episode evokes a nostalgic school spirit as celebrities tackle a series of brainteasers alongside fast-paced physical challenges that draw on forgotten school knowledge. As the competition progresses, the “smartest” celebrity is eliminated each week, culminating in a high-stakes final exam to determine who ultimately receives the dubious honor of being named The Nation’s Dumbest.
Developed from a concept by Montreaux Films, the series is set to be executive produced by Ryan O’Dowd, Krystal Whitney, and Jenny Groom for BBC Studios, with James Breen and Michael O’Sullivan also on board as executive producers. Breen will also serve as showrunner.
