Burglary Investigation Underway in Granada Hills
Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Thursday night in Granada Hills, marking at least the fourth such incident in the San Fernando Valley this week.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the incident took place around 8:40 p.m. in the 11900 block of Wood Ranch Road. According to Lt. John Kielbasa, the homeowner received an alert on their phone that included video footage of three individuals entering the property after breaking a rear window with a crowbar.
Fortunately, no one was at home during the incident. It remains unclear whether any items were stolen. The LAPD is currently reviewing surveillance video that documented part of the burglary.
This investigation is part of a string of recent burglaries in the San Fernando Valley, which includes two incidents in Valley Glen and another in Valley Village. Authorities have not confirmed any connections among these cases or released information about potential suspects.
