Brooks Nader Lightly Jokes About Her Nip Slip Moments While Celebrating Her Fashion Achievement
Brooks Nader Surprised by Fashion Award Amid Wardrobe Malfunctions
Model Brooks Nader expressed surprise at receiving the Breakthrough Fashion Talent award at The Daily Front Row’s 10th Annual Fashion Awards held in Los Angeles on April 14. Nader, 29, opened up about her wardrobe malfunctions during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
When asked about her frequent fashion mishaps, Nader laughed and acknowledged, “You said it, not me! This is true. I have been known to have a nip slip every now and then. That’s why it’s so shocking I’m getting this award, but I’m honored.”
The star of Love Thy Nader emphasized that perfection is not a requirement for success. “You don’t have to be perfect to take home an award. Hannah Montana said it best: ‘Nobody’s perfect,’” she quipped, referencing Miley Cyrus’ iconic song.
Nader highlighted the beauty of embracing imperfections, stating that she often feels “the most beautiful” during what she called “imperfect moments.” She noted, “People are like, ‘That happened to me too,’ because it just shows you that we’re all human, and it can happen to anyone.”
Upon receiving the award, Nader admitted to shedding tears. “I was so honored because Daily Front Row has been a part of my life since I got into the fashion industry,” she explained. “It was my first cover, and it’s just such an honor to get this award.”
In a previous conversation with Us Weekly, Nader had reflected on her experiences with nip slips, mentioning, “I have so many.” When asked if any of those were intentional, she firmly stated, “No! Whenever the actual areola is popping out, it’s not intentional.”
Nader indicated that while sheer tops can offer glimpses of curves, any slip-ups remain accidental. “I think it’s like a curse, I don’t know,” she mused, underscoring her disbelief at the frequency of these occurrences.
The fashion industry’s recognition of Nader despite her past mishaps highlights an evolving understanding of authenticity and human experiences in media.
