The vibrant “Ice Cream” music video showcases BLACKPINK members LISA, JENNIE, JISOO, and ROSÉ alongside Gomez in a whimsical retro setting. The five artists are dressed in bright, eye-catching outfits as they dance in various playful locales, including a giant pink balloon pit and inflatable bounce houses, with plenty of ice cream in sight.
“Ice Cream” serves as the second single from BLACKPINK’s debut studio album, The Album. The song spent eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 13, and spent 14 weeks on the Billboard Global 200, reaching No. 8. The album itself debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for a total of 26 weeks.
Since their debut in 2016 with the single album Square One, BLACKPINK has become a dominant force in the K-pop genre. The group has placed 11 songs on the Hot 100, and their second studio album, Born Pink, topped the Billboard 200, surpassing their first album’s performance. Additionally, each member has embarked on successful solo careers, with at least one hit on the Hot 100 to their credit.
With its one billion views, “Ice Cream” joins the ranks of other BLACKPINK singles, including “Pink Venom” and “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” both of which have also reached this milestone. For Gomez, the track adds to her accolades alongside hits like “Come & Get It,” “Calm Down” (with Rema), and “We Don’t Talk Anymore” featuring Charlie Puth.
The “Ice Cream” music video continues to capture the audience’s imagination and remains a popular choice among fans.
