Big Brother Season 28 Premiere Date Announced on CBS
The highly anticipated return of Big Brother is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
Returning as host, Julie Chen Moonves will kick off the season with a special 90-minute premiere, followed by another 90-minute episode on Sunday, July 12.
Season 28 of Big Brother is poised to make television history as the first series to reach 1,000 original episodes in primetime. This season promises a summer filled with unexpected twists as Houseguests enter the iconic Big Brother house.
After the premiere, Big Brother will air weekly on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET, with hour-long episodes on Thursdays dedicated to live evictions and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

This summer will also see the return of companion series Big Brother: Unlocked, featuring exclusive inside footage, extended interviews, and surprise guest appearances. Notably, this season will include a live studio audience for the first time, allowing fans to engage more directly with the action. The series, which offers analysis of gameplay and perspectives from insiders, premieres on Friday, July 10, at 8 p.m. ET.
Subscribers to Paramount+ with Showtime can stream live episodes via their local CBS affiliate, along with on-demand access. However, Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have live streaming options but can view episodes on-demand the day after their airing.
