Behind the Scenes: Druski’s Billboard Cover Shoot Photos
Trending on Billboard
In early July, Justin Bieber was in the studio finalizing what is anticipated to be one of 2025’s biggest albums. During this time, he posed a thought-provoking question to his collaborator, comedian Druski: “Why wouldn’t you be my therapist?” This moment came as they completed a trio of skits that serve as interludes in his new album, SWAG, which launched shortly thereafter.
This R&B-forward project marks a significant and mature evolution for Bieber. Recognizing Druski’s broad appeal and comedic talent, he sought the comedian’s help to facilitate this transition. Druski explained, “He wanted a way to address everything different outlets and the public wanted answers about, and I think he wanted to do it in a comedic way. He played the album for us and then we had conversations between each song. It was all one take, just talking to him about what’s been going on in his life.”
From appearing in Dunkin’ commercials during the Super Bowl to collaborations with pop icons like Bieber, Druski has emerged as a defining figure in 2025’s cultural landscape, capturing the attention of major stars.
Druski is also set to host the Billboard 2025 No. 1s Livestream on Tuesday, Dec. 9, starting at noon ET/9 a.m. PT, where he will welcome special guests to showcase the biggest chart successes of the year.
For further insights, Druski’s complete cover story can be found in Billboard’s latest feature.
