BAFTA Film Awards Highlights: 'Frankenstein' Takes Home Awards for Best Makeup & Hair and Production Design

BAFTA Film Awards Winners Announced in London

The BAFTA Film Awards unveiled their winners during a ceremony held on Sunday in London. Among the prominent nominees were One Battle After Another and Sinners, which garnered 14 and 13 nominations, respectively. Several British films, including Hamnet and I Swear, also sought to claim the esteemed bronze mask.

Additional accolades were given in special awards. Dame Donna Langley, chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, received the BAFTA Fellowship, the highest honor from the arts charity. Clare Binns, creative director of PictureHouse Cinemas, was recognized for her Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.

The ceremony, hosted by Alan Cumming, was broadcast live, airing on BBC1 in the UK at 7 p.m. local time and on E! at 8 p.m. ET in the United States. The event featured a performance of "Golden" by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the voices behind Netflix’s popular series KPop Demon Hunters. Additionally, Jessie Ware performed during the ceremony’s In Memoriam segment.
