TV Publicity Exec Committee Announces 4th Annual TPEC Awards, Remembering the Late Robert Pietranton
The Television Publicity Executive Committee has announced the Fourth Annual TPEC Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in television publicity campaigns. Submissions will open on December 15.
This year’s awards will debut two new categories: Outstanding Campaign for an International Series and Best Press Event. Additionally, the Rising Star Award, which honors an emerging public relations professional, will be renamed the Robert Pietranton Rising Star Award, paying tribute to the venerable publicist who recently passed away.
In reference to the award’s new name, Rebecca Marks, Executive Vice President of Publicity and Communications at Warner Bros. TV Group, stated, “Robert was revered throughout the industry for his expertise, professionalism, and integrity. He loved this business and was a mentor to so many. But most of all, to those who knew him best, he’ll always be remembered for his unwavering kindness, decency, and generosity, which is why we’ve seen so many tributes celebrating what a special person Robert was. All of us at WBTVG are thrilled he’s receiving this honor and touched that Robert’s memory will live on and inspire a new generation of publicists.”
The submission window will close on March 30, followed by a voting period in April. Winners will be announced in June.

● The Robert Pietranton Rising Star
● The Press Impact Award
Campaign eligibility will cover the period from January 2025 to December 2025, with detailed submission guidelines available on the TPEC website.
