Alicia Silverstone made headlines at the red carpet premiere of the HBO limited series DTF St. Louis on February 24, showcasing a daring fashion choice. The actress stepped out in an oversized chocolate brown pantsuit that featured a striking peek of her lacy lingerie underneath.
Held at the DGA Theatre in Los Angeles, the premiere saw Silverstone donning a tailored jacket adorned with button detailing, wide-legged matching pants, and coordinating pointed-toe heels. Her sleek hairstyle allowed a clear view of her accessories, including a silver ring on her left index finger.
This appearance follows Silverstone’s recent show-stopping look at the 2026 Golden Globes on January 11, where she captivated audiences in a strapless red gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture—an homage to the iconic fashion of her character Cher Horowitz from the 1995 classic Clueless. Reflecting on her past, Silverstone acknowledged her surprised rise in fashion fame, admitting she initially had little interest in style during her audition days for the film.
“What’s funny is, when I got the role for Clueless, I wore jeans,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “At that age, I never had any interest in fashion at all.”
Looking back, Silverstone emphasized the impact of costume designer Mona May as a key factor in Clueless‘s lasting legacy. After filming, she gave away many of her character’s iconic outfits, acknowledging that they didn’t fit her personal style. Notably, director Gia Coppola received some of these pieces as well, yet neither knew their whereabouts post-donation.
Reflecting on her fashion evolution, Silverstone noted, “After I did Clueless, I thought, ‘Oh, I want to have all these clothes,’ which was a delusional idea because I was not like that girl.”
Currently, Silverstone is gearing up to reprise her role as Cher in a sequel television series based on the esteemed film. She expressed her eagerness, stating, “The goal is to make it honor what everyone loves about Clueless and Cher,” while promising to infuse fresh elements in the upcoming project.
