Los Angeles Culinary Festival Showcases Local Flavors at Santa Anita Park
On Sunday, November 3, Los Angeles Magazine hosted its 18th annual culinary festival at Santa Anita Park, attracting a diverse crowd of food enthusiasts eager to sample offerings from some of the region’s most acclaimed chefs, restaurants, and wineries.
This year’s event brought together a wide array of culinary talent, featuring notable participants such as Abernethy’s, Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery, Al Dente Pasta Shop, and many others. Attendees indulged in gourmet bites and beverages from local eateries and wineries, transforming the iconic racetrack into a vibrant feast for the senses.
Guests received a complimentary stemless wine glass, provided by the Mexican Caribbean, which they used to taste-test various wines from participating vineyards. Many took advantage of an engraving option to personalize their glasses, enhancing their experience at the festival.
BMW further captivated attendees with displays of its luxury XM and i5 models. Additionally, a sponsored bingo game offered guests a chance to win prizes, including BMW apparel and $500 in dining certificates redeemable at Los Angeles restaurants.
Amid the culinary explorations, festival-goers also had the opportunity to peruse the November issue of Los Angeles magazine, which highlighted the upcoming Hollywood awards season.
While some attendees relished the historic ambiance of Santa Anita’s Club House, others chose to enjoy the beautiful weather on the outdoor seating area, taking in views of the San Gabriel Mountains as they savored their meals. The setting provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable culinary experience, blending exquisite cuisine with a touch of Southern California’s charm.
