TikTok Star Tucker Genal Passes Away at 31: Tributes from His Brothers Express Love and Loss

Tucker Genal, a renowned social media influencer celebrated for his entertaining skits and challenges, passed away at the age of 31. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that he died by suicide at his home on Thursday, December 11.
His brothers, Carson and Connor Genal, shared the devastating news in an Instagram post on Monday, requesting privacy during this challenging time.
“I don’t even know where to begin. You were my best friend and an even better big brother. My entire life, I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero,” they wrote in their moving tribute.
The post featured several photos of the brothers over the years, including moments under a sky full of lanterns and playful snapshots from their childhood.
“I know one thing is for certain: I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could ever ask for,” the message continued. “We love you and will miss you eternally, Tucker🤍.”
They concluded their message by acknowledging the “incredibly difficult time” their family faces as they begin to adjust to life without him, expressing gratitude for the kindness and understanding shown to them.

With close to 3 million followers on TikTok and over 340,000 on Instagram, Tucker’s videos featured collaborations with friends and family. He and his brothers also amassed more than 1 million followers on their joint TikTok account, Hustle House.
Before rising to social media fame, Tucker pursued a degree in business administration and management at Furman University, later working as a social media coordinator for sneaker artist Kickasso.

Influencer Sean Schutt, who frequently appeared in TikTok videos alongside Tucker, shared a poignant tribute on Instagram, reflecting on how Tucker helped him emerge from a difficult period in his life.
“Tucker, you gave me my motivation; you brought a light in me that I never even knew I had,” Schutt wrote alongside cherished memories. “You are the kindest, most selfless person I knew. You always put others before yourself and you always knew how to care when no one else did.”
“I don’t know where I would have been without you,” he continued. “You showed me how beautiful life can be. I’m so blessed to have had you in my life.”
Schutt concluded with a heartfelt message: “I will cherish every moment and memory we shared together forever. Thank you for always being there for me when I didn’t know where to go. Thank you for being you! I will miss you forever, buddy❤️.”
