Car Crash in Pacoima Results in One Fatality and Two Injuries
Fatal Crash in Pacoima Claims One Life, Leaves Two Injured
A late-night car accident in Pacoima resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man and injuries to two others after a vehicle struck a pole on Friday evening.
The collision took place around 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of Paxton Street and San Fernando Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). Firefighters arrived at the scene in response to reports of the accident.
Tragically, the 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 27-year-old man, who was trapped inside the vehicle, was rescued and transported to a hospital where he is currently in critical condition. Additionally, a woman, approximately 39 years old, sustained minor injuries. She was evaluated on site and did not require hospitalization.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
