Police Seek Woman in Connection to Fatal Shooting in San Bernardino
Authorities are actively pursuing 21-year-old Elvia Johnson, who is accused of fatally shooting another woman during a violent altercation earlier this month in San Bernardino. Police have classified Johnson as armed and dangerous.
The incident unfolded on February 1 around 5 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a physical confrontation involving several individuals on West Concord Street near Medical Center Drive. After the fight concluded, Johnson allegedly entered a vehicle and discharged her firearm at the female victim.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
As the investigation continues, police have issued a warning regarding Johnson, who is currently wanted on an active arrest warrant. They encourage anyone with information about her whereabouts to reach out to the San Bernardino Police Department’s homicide unit.
