Days before de Rossi’s birthday celebration, DeGeneres shared a tribute to ICU nurse Alex Pretti, who was tragically killed by federal officers in Minneapolis on January 24, further highlighting her awareness of ongoing social issues.
The couple recently renewed their vows in 2023, celebrating their love story with a ceremony officiated by close friend Kris Jenner, featuring a performance by Brandi Carlile. De Rossi surprised DeGeneres with this vow renewal during her 50th birthday party, where she nostalgically wore her Zac Posen gown from their original wedding.
