First Look at Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man
Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, a cinematic adaptation of the critically acclaimed TV series created by Steven Knight. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in select theaters on March 6, 2026, before making its global debut on Netflix on March 20.
Directed by Tom Harper, the film brings back Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy in his iconic role as Tommy Shelby, a character he portrayed in the BAFTA-winning series from 2013 to 2022. The cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, and Jay Lycurgo. Notable series alumni such as Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck will also reprise their roles.
The film’s official logline states: “Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must confront his own demons and decide whether to uphold his legacy or burn it to the ground.”
Peaky Blinders, the original series, debuted on BBC Two in 2013 and quickly gained worldwide popularity. It transitioned to Netflix in 2014 and received critical acclaim, securing the BAFTA for Best Drama Series for its fourth season. The series moved to BBC One for its fifth and sixth seasons in 2019.
