Zach Zucker Announces Debut Comedy Special Featuring His Clown Character Jack Tucker
Zach Zucker to Launch First Comedy Special as Jack Tucker on YouTube
Zach Zucker, a prominent figure in the contemporary clown comedy scene known for his alter ego, Jack Tucker, has announced the release of his inaugural special titled Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour. The special will premiere on YouTube at 12:00 p.m. PT on April 26.
A graduate of École Philippe Gaulier in France, Zucker has spent the past decade touring the international comedy circuit. He has garnered a devoted following through his work with the acclaimed group Stamptown. His performances as Jack Tucker, a manic clown who refers to himself as “New York’s greatest comedian,” have revitalized a highly visual and physical style of comedy that transcends traditional stand-up and ventures into immersive live experiences.
Following a successful 10-week Off-Broadway run at SoHo Playhouse, which was extended twice due to popular demand, Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour will feature guest appearances by actor Neil Patrick Harris and Dyson Knight of the Baha Men. The special is directed by Dylan Woodley, while Jonny Woolley directed the live version. Executive producers include Zucker, Woolley, Woodley, and Jeremy Elder, in addition to prominent figures like Kevin McCollum, known for Rent and Avenue Q, and Dave Kneebone of Abso Lutely Productions.
The special was filmed at the Bell House in Brooklyn and will debut two weeks prior to Zucker’s award-winning variety show Stamptown, which is scheduled to tape its inaugural comedy special at the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival. This event will take place across three performances on May 8 and 9 at The Montalban Theatre, directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg.
Beyond his work with Stamptown, Zucker is one half of the Norwegian-American clown duo Zach & Viggo. His impressive career includes sold-out shows at prestigious venues and festivals, including Netflix Is a Joke, Just for Laughs, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Zucker has also made appearances on various television shows and has credits in films such as the HBO Max rom-com Sweethearts and the upcoming release Love Language, directed by Joey Power and starring Chloë Grace Moretz.
As a producer, Zucker has collaborated with a diverse array of acts, including Riki Lindhome and Jordan Gray. He is represented by UTA, BLOC Talent, and Ziffren Brittenham.
