Yungblud teased the video, stating, “Another day, another plane … Aussie edition. Melbourne, see you tonight.”
The video begins mid-flight and follows Yungblud during several tour stops in Sydney, including a visit to Behind The Gallery, where a recent exhibition featuring the singer attracted such large crowds that police were called to manage the situation. The rocker also reconnects with staff at triple j, remarking that he “saw some old friends.”
Throughout the clip, Yungblud addresses media attention regarding his time in Sydney, including footage that emerged online of him spending time nude on a yacht.
The focus then shifts to his tour preparations as he gears up for his first Australian arena show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena.
To alleviate jet lag, Yungblud documents a pre-show routine that features coffee, a gym session, swimming, and a shower, noting Ozzy Osbourne as a source of inspiration. Upon arriving at the venue, he receives a gift from his tour manager, briefs his crew on the night ahead, and physically prepares for his performance.
Reflecting on the night, Yungblud stated, “As expected, first night in Australia was mental,” sharing footage from the Qudos Bank Arena show, enhanced with pyrotechnics. “The Aussies know how to party, man.”
Following the concert, the video captures Yungblud greeting fans who waited outside the venue before he ends the night. The next day, he boards another plane, this time headed to Melbourne, revealing that fans were waiting for him at the airport after he broadcast his arrival time via Instagram.
“Australia, it’s so good to be back,” he concluded.
The video comes as Yungblud continues his Australian tour, with upcoming performances scheduled at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, followed by shows in Brisbane and Perth.
