The first week of February has seen a flurry of new music from several major artists, each offering a unique sound as the month kicks off. The diversity in these releases stands out, much like the snowflakes that continue to blanket parts of the continental United States following recent winter storms.
In a year already bustling with new tracks from former One Direction members, Zayn Malik has joined the mix. Following the January releases from Harry Styles, who topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Aperture,” and Louis Tomlinson’s new album, How Did I Get Here?, Malik surprised fans with the announcement of an upcoming album, Konnakol. He unveiled the lead single, “Die for Me,” on Friday, February 6.
The same day, two other prominent artists released significant albums. Nick Jonas launched Sunday Best, featuring 12 tracks and a collaboration with his brothers, Joe and Kevin, while J. Cole debuted his much-anticipated double album, The Fall-Off, which includes a total of 24 songs. In addition, the fresh talent sombr released the single “Homewrecker,” following a standout performance at the Grammys on February 1, and Joji returned with “Hotel California,” a precursor to his forthcoming album, Piss in the Wind.
As these new projects emerge, Billboard invites listeners to share their favorites from this week’s releases. Whether navigating the chilly weather or enjoying milder climates, fans can express which new tracks are currently on repeat as February continues on.
