Warner Bros. Launches New Specialty Label Clockwork, Starting with Sean Baker’s Film ‘Ti Amo!’ at CinemaCon
Warner Bros. Clockwork has secured global distribution rights for the film Ti Amo!, with plans for a theatrical release worldwide in 2027, excluding France.
Directed by Sean Baker, Ti Amo! serves as the highly anticipated successor to his Oscar and Palme d’Or-winning film Anora. Baker will take on multiple roles in the production, including writer, director, editor, and producer. He will reunite with Anora producers Alex Coco and Samantha Quan, with their respective companies, Cre Film and Rapt Film, overseeing production. The project is funded by FilmNation Entertainment.
Christian Parkes, leading Warner Bros. Clockwork, emphasizes the label’s commitment to connecting singular filmmakers with global audiences. The label aims to continue Warner Bros.’ tradition of creating socially relevant and culturally impactful cinema.
“Sean Baker is an artist who embodies everything we believe in at Clockwork, and Ti Amo! will be another gift to cinema,” Parkes remarked. “Plus, his poster game is on point.”
Parkes reports to Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, Co-Chairs and CEOs of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group. He is responsible for the daily operations of the label, which encompasses independently produced and acquired projects, in-house feature development, and the restoration of classic Warner Bros. films for global theatrical release.
The deal for Ti Amo! was negotiated by Jason Wald, Head of Production & Acquisition at Warner Bros. Clockwork, and Erik Elner, EVP of Business Affairs. The filmmakers were represented by attorney Jamie Feldman, while Laine Kline represented FilmNation Entertainment.
