Victoria Beckham expressed gratitude to her family during a recent award ceremony in Paris.
On January 26, during Paris Fashion Week, the fashion designer was honored with the title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture. She was accompanied by her husband, David Beckham, their 14-year-old daughter Harper, and sons Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23.
This public appearance came just a week after Brooklyn Peltz Beckham publicly addressed a family feud via social media.
In an emotional Instagram post featuring a family photo, Victoria conveyed her gratitude for the recognition. “I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art,” she noted. “So to be recognized here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication.”
Victoria concluded her message by thanking French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati and spotlighting her husband’s unwavering support. “Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx.”
Victoria and David were seen arriving at the Ministry of Culture in coordinating black outfits. Victoria wore a stylish turtleneck dress featuring a thigh-high slit, while David opted for a classic suit and tie. Earlier that day, he was photographed at a Paris hotel in a casual denim ensemble, complete with a beanie and a large Hermès bag.
The event also featured their younger sons, Cruz and Romeo, who recently showcased their talents at the Willy Chavarria Menswear show during Paris Fashion Week, accompanied by their respective girlfriends, Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull.
Brought to light in a series of Instagram Stories on January 19, Brooklyn discussed the ongoing disputes within the family. His remarks included accusations regarding their treatment of his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, to whom he married in April 2022.
Brooklyn stated, “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family.”

Brooklyn emphasized, “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.” He further affirmed his position, stating, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Representatives for David and Victoria have yet to respond to requests for comment regarding the situation.
A source indicated that Brooklyn “has no regrets about speaking out publicly against his parents. He, Nicola, and the Peltzes are firm and happy in their stance.” The insider elaborated, “He’s standing in his convictions. He feels right to be saying what he is saying.”
Despite the rift, another source close to the family mentioned that “David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward.” The insider added, “David loves his kids. They are his everything.”
In previous statements, sources assured that “the relationship is definitely not beyond repair,” affirming the parents’ ongoing support despite their disappointment over Brooklyn’s absence from family life.
