Underoath Announce Summer 2026 US Tour
Underoath has unveiled plans for a Summer 2026 tour, named "The Van Tour to Vans Warped Tour." This series of performances will take place in intimate independent venues across the United States, coinciding with the band’s appearances at the Warped Tour in Washington, D.C., and Long Beach, California.
The tour is scheduled to kick off on June 8 in Jacksonville, Florida, and will include stops in cities such as Richmond, Virginia, El Paso, Texas, and Roswell, New Mexico. The final show will be held in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 2. Notably, the veteran metalcore band will be supported by Held., a new group featuring members from The Sleeping and Coheed and Cambria.
Guitarist Tim McTague expressed enthusiasm for the tour, stating, “The idea of going back into a van, and reconnecting with how we used to tour, will be impactful at worst. At best, it’s an opportunity to reconnect in the same environment that we had prior in a new way and what that unlocks for us as friends, bandmates and more exciting to me…creatively.” He emphasized that this tour presents "the smallest shows of our career on-sale to create an environment that hasn’t been seen since probably 2002."
Reflecting on the road ahead, McTague highlighted the significance of traveling together again after over two decades: “We haven’t driven across the country together as one unit, listening to the same music, stopping at the same rest stops, eating the same meals etc. I think there is a magic there that breeds something existentially curious about someone.” He anticipates that the shows will differ from past ones, creating an unforgettable experience for both the band and their fans.
