UCLA Wins Again, Dominating Washington and Reaching 20 Consecutive Victories
UCLA’s basketball team, ranked No. 2, secured an 82-67 victory over Washington, marking the Bruins’ 20th consecutive win and ensuring the top seed in the Big Ten tournament.
In a standout performance, Lauren Betts led the Bruins with 23 points, contributing to a balanced offensive effort that featured five players scoring in double figures during the home game at Pauley Pavilion.
Although the team struggled with its three-point shooting, connecting on only 26.7% of attempts—well below their season average—UCLA’s dominance on the boards proved crucial. The Bruins out-rebounded Washington, 37 to 20, securing control of the game and reinforcing their strong position as they approach postseason play.
