Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip Tops Netflix Charts While Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich Returns to TV Rankings
Tyler Perry’s latest installment in the Madea franchise, Joe’s College Road Trip, topped Netflix charts last week. The film garnered 12.5 million views from its release date of February 13 through the week’s end, marking a modest yet significant milestone as the highest opening for a Netflix comedy film this year.
In a competitive landscape, the fourth season of The Lincoln Lawyer claimed the top position in the TV rankings, surpassing Bridgerton Season 4. The Lincoln Lawyer attracted 9.6 million views, while Bridgerton Season 4 recorded 9.4 million views between February 9 and 15.
The first and third seasons of Bridgerton also maintained their presence in the rankings. Season 1 secured the tenth place with 1.9 million views, and Season 3 followed closely in ninth with 2.2 million views. With the second half of Season 4 set to release on February 26, Bridgerton is likely to reclaim its top position.
On the global stage, the German thriller Unfamiliar emerged as the leading TV series of the week, attracting 10.4 million views, making it the top non-English TV show. In the non-English film category, the Brazilian action film State of Fear took the lead with 8 million views.

The 2020 docuseries Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich saw a resurgence in the English TV rankings, partly due to ongoing Congressional discussions surrounding the release of Epstein files. The series accumulated 8.4 million views.
Additionally, Katt Williams: The Last Report ranked fourth among English TV offerings with 7.1 million views, while the initial six episodes of Love Is Blind: Ohio secured the fifth spot with 4.6 million views.
