TOMORROW X TOGETHER Starts New UNICEF Campaign to Support Youth Mental Health
Trending on Billboard
K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER has launched a new initiative focused on mental health as part of their ongoing commitment to the cause. This initiative, titled TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW, was unveiled during a press conference by UNICEF’s Korean Committee on Tuesday, April 28, aiming to promote mental well-being among children globally.
In the accompanying video for the campaign, members HUENINGKAI, TAEHYUN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, and SOOBIN engage with children in a warm, playful setting, with leader SOOBIN narrating in Korean. He begins, “How are you feeling today? Rather than trying to change you, we just stay by your side.” He continues, “Hard days happen, we’ve been through it too. Asking for help doesn’t mean you are weak. Taking care of yourself and leaning on others for support is a sign of strength. Because together, we can be ready for a better tomorrow.”
As the video concludes, the K-pop group and the children enthusiastically proclaim the campaign’s name, exclaiming, “Together for tomorrow!”
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has achieved significant success, landing 13 releases on the Billboard 200. Their commitment to youth mental health began last October with a visit to UNICEF’s New York City offices. In a speech at that event, SOOBIN emphasized, “Through our musical journey, we have learned that expressing emotion is a sign of strength. Now with our campaign with UNICEF, we want to help create a safe and inclusive space for youth to freely express their emotions.”
Furthermore, during the campaign launch, their label BIGHIT MUSIC pledged $1.4 million to support youth mental health programs and to combat the stigma surrounding these issues.
