Taylor Swift Refreshes Reputation Tracks on Apple Music with Exciting New Lyrics, Exciting Fans Everywhere

Taylor Swift has made subtle yet significant changes to a pair of tracks from her 2017 album Reputation. The updates, confirmed by PEOPLE, involve new lyrics for "I Did Something Bad" and "Delicate," now available on Apple Music, which also features the album in Dolby Atmos sound.
In the revised version of “I Did Something Bad,” Swift changed the lyric from “But if he drops my name, then I owe him nothing / And if he spends my change, then he had it comin’” to “If a man talks s—, then I owe him nothing / And if he calls me a bitch, then he had it comin’.”
The update on "Delicate" saw the original lyric, “Oh, damn, never seen that color blue,” replaced by “Goddamn, never seen that color blue.”
The updates sparked excitement among fans on social media. One user expressed enthusiasm, stating, “‘reputation’ in dolby atmos is basically a taylor’s version. I can hear literally everything. EVERYTHING. plus, the lyric changes, y’all rep tv was released December 12, 2025.” Another fan exclaimed, “The I Did Something Bad lyric change is real!!! I just heard it for myself, and about dropped over.”

In response to the changes, another fan remarked, “Oh MY GOD I have the updated audio on Apple Music. REPUTATION WITH CURSING!!! TAYLOR SWIFT, I f—ing love you.” Some fans even speculated that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) could soon be on the way. One user joked, “we’re fr about to get reputation tv shes so funny,” while another exclaimed, “REPUTATION TV IS SILENTLY ROLLING OUT??? I FORGIVE U MISS SWIFT OMG.”
Before regaining control of her masters in May 2025, Swift re-recorded versions of her first six albums, including Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and 1989. Following this, she addressed the potential release of Reputation (Taylor’s Version), expressing her hesitance.
