Tina Fey and Friends Explore Italy in the New Season 2 Trailer of ‘The Four Seasons’
Netflix Unveils Trailer for Season 2 of The Four Seasons
Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of The Four Seasons, featuring Tina Fey and Will Forte, who, along with their ensemble cast, will journey to Europe for their next vacation. This new season follows the friends as they navigate the profound loss of their late companion, a significant event that took place in the penultimate episode of the first season.
Co-creators Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield crafted Season 1 around six longtime friends who plan a relaxing getaway, only to discover that one couple is on the verge of separation. The trio of couples—Kate (Fey) and Jack (Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani)—is thrown into turmoil by this revelation. The series chronicles their dynamics over the course of a year, showcasing four vacations that bring underlying issues to the forefront.
In the upcoming season, the core group of friends—Kate, Jack, Anne, Danny, Claude, and Ginny (Erika Henningsen)—aims to uphold their vacation tradition, this time with a baby in attendance. The Four Seasons resumes with the friends departing from their usual destinations along the Jersey shore and in upstate New York, and venturing into the breathtaking landscapes of Italy. With a blend of humor and warmth, the series poignantly addresses their shared grief while propelling them into new adventures.
Produced for Netflix by Universal Television, the series features executive producers Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, Tracey Wigfield, Jeff Richmond, Eric Gurian, and David Miner from 3 Arts Entertainment. Alan Alda and Marissa Bregman also contribute as producers.
Season 2 of The Four Seasons is set to premiere on Thursday, March 28, on Netflix.
