Just a week after donning a matching custom Chrome Hearts vibrant orange outfit alongside girlfriend Kylie Jenner at the Los Angeles premiere, Chalamet, 29, showcased the same striking hue with his mother, Nicole Flender, at the film’s New York City premiere on December 16.
Chalamet’s attire featured a double-breasted neon orange suit designed by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, complemented by a coordinating fringe scarf. He accessorized the look with a chain necklace, a watch, and wire-rimmed glasses.
Flender matched her son with a neon orange halter neck gown, which she paired with coordinating shoes and a glittery gold purse, styled with an elegant updo.
At the Los Angeles premiere on December 9, Chalamet had previously sported a bright orange leather suit, complemented by an orange silk shirt and matching boots, along with a Chrome Hearts black leather ping-pong paddle case draped over his shoulder.
Kylie Jenner, 28, joined him in a floor-length orange gown featuring triangular cutouts and a deep V-neckline, cinched with a cross embellishment. She accessorized with orange pointed-toe pumps.
Chalamet’s affinity for the color orange first came to light during a marketing meeting that gained viral attention in November. In a clip shared by studio A24 on social media, he expressed his desire to incorporate bold orange shades into the film’s promotional materials.
Referring to the color as “Great Idea #1,” Chalamet remarked, “Hardcore orange. Corroded orange. Falling apart orange. Rusted orange,” citing the surge in popularity of pink associated with Barbie in 2023 as a source of inspiration.

During the meeting, Chalamet presented a “working example” of the shade of orange he envisioned for the movie’s promotional posters, suggesting that iconic American landmarks like the Statue of Liberty be transformed from green to orange to evoke thoughts of Marty Supreme.
He humorously proposed that the Eiffel Tower, Egyptian Pyramids, and the Taj Mahal could also don the vibrant hue.

In a light-hearted discussion during the call, he emphasized that the ultimate emblem of American greatness should be a blimp, humorously downplaying traditional vehicles like the car or airplane.
Since these meetings, orange blimps featuring Marty Supreme have been observed in the skies, adding a unique twist to the film’s promotional efforts.
Marty Supreme is set to be released in theaters on December 25.
