Thursday’s Basketball Results Overview
In a series of competitive high school basketball matchups on Thursday, several teams showcased impressive skill, particularly in the City and Southern Sections.
In the City Section Boys’ games, Alliance Bloomfield edged out Alliance Ted K. Tajima with a close score of 39-36. Animo Robinson delivered a dominant performance against New Designs University Park, winning 72-30. Other notable scores included Animo Venice defeating Burton 89-40 and Downtown Magnets overpowering Annenberg 90-23.
Southern Section games featured equally intense matchups, with Chino defeating Ontario decisively, 90-47, and Elsinore besting West Valley 89-54. The game between Rancho Cucamonga and Upland ended with a score of 66-37 in favor of Rancho Cucamonga.

In the Southern Section, Alemany routed Marymount with a score of 100-40. Additionally, Bishop Montgomery defeated St. Anthony 63-48, and Santa Margarita edged out Orange Lutheran in a close match, winning 78-73.
