The Rolling Stones Are Coming to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’
The Rolling Stones are set to make appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, beginning with Mick Jagger on May 6, followed by Keith Richards on May 7, and Ronnie Wood on May 13. Each member will feature in separate episodes, marking a significant moment for the iconic rock band.
This will be Richards’ third time on the show, while Jagger and Wood will be making their second appearances. Their visits coincide with the promotion of their upcoming studio album, Foreign Tongues, which includes recordings from their late drummer Charlie Watts, captured during one of his final sessions before his passing in 2021.
Foreign Tongues is scheduled for release on July 10 via Capitol Records, less than three years after the band’s acclaimed Grammy-winning album, Hackney Diamonds. The previous album achieved remarkable success, reaching No. 1 in 20 countries and earning gold certifications in several, as well as platinum status in Austria, France, and Germany. It also won the Best Rock Album award at the 67th Grammy Awards.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is produced by Universal Television in association with Broadway Video, under the executive direction of Lorne Michaels. The show, filmed in front of a live studio audience at Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center, airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the following day on Peacock.
