Authorities in Texas have apprehended a 40-year-old man, Victor L. Corey Paillet III, in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a toddler. Paillet, known on social media as “Kandy Red Bread,” was taken into custody following an investigation initiated on January 16.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) first responded to a residence in Porter, Texas, as part of their inquiry into the incident. The MCSO’s Special Victims Unit was soon involved in the case.
According to the MCSO, detectives secured video footage that reportedly shows the sexual assault of the child. This evidence led to the identification of Paillet as the suspect.
The mother of the victim, who has chosen to remain unnamed to protect her child’s identity, recounted her distressing discovery. Appearing in interviews with local media outlets, she shared that she contacted the police after finding concerning videos on Paillet’s phone.
Her voice trembling, she described the moment, stating, “I’ve never went through his phone before, never, but his phone was right there, and I’m like, I just feel something’s not right,” she told KPRC 2. “I just keep seeing that video over and over in my head. I literally haven’t been able to sleep. I’ve just been crying so much lately.”

Paillet has been charged with promotion of child pornography and aggravated sexual assault of a child, both classified as first-degree felonies. Following his arrest, he was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond.
With a significant online presence, Paillet has over 62,000 followers on Instagram, where he posts videos related to car customization specific to the Houston area.
The victim’s mother expressed her profound distress, stating that both she and her child are struggling in the aftermath of the incident. “We can’t go back to that house where the trauma happened,” she said, mentioning their intentions to move.
She further shared insights into her child’s emotional state, remarking, “She has changed since that happened. She’s just been crying so much lately, and we both do need to seek therapy. We’re going to try and get some help.”
“She’s just a baby — why would you do this to a baby? How can you do this to her? How can you do this to me?” she questioned, reflecting her anguish.
Reports indicate that jail officials have placed Paillet on a “modified safety watch,” a protocol used when an inmate may pose a risk to themselves.
