Tell Me Lies Season 3 Finale Draws 3.5 Million Viewers, Up 70% from the Premiere
Season Finale of Tell Me Lies Breaks Viewership Records
The season finale of Tell Me Lies has captivated audiences, finishing its run on a high note. The conclusion of the series, as confirmed by showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer, garnered more than 3.5 million views within its first day on Disney+ and Hulu. This figure marks an impressive increase of nearly 70% compared to the same-day audience for the Season 3 premiere, according to Disney.
The Season 3 premiere itself had already seen significant success, achieving a 150% rise in viewership compared to the inaugural season’s debut. While exact comparisons to Season 2 remain undisclosed, Disney has noted that viewership for Tell Me Lies has consistently improved both season-over-season and week-over-week.
In addition to its finale’s success, Disney highlighted that Season 3 has also contributed to a surge of 50 million viewing hours for the earlier seasons—surpassing their original airing periods.
Based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, Tell Me Lies follows the tumultuous romance between Lucy Albright, portrayed by Grace Van Patten, and Stephen DeMarco, played by Jackson White, as they navigate their complex relationship during the spring semester at Baird College.
