On the streaming front, TelevisaUnivision reported significant growth, with total viewing hours on Vix surpassing 1 billion in the last quarter. Year-over-year engagement has risen by 15%, and currently, 86% of U.S. Hispanic households have engaged with the platform.
In entertainment news, Univision announced the return of legendary host Don Francisco, who will anchor a new limited event series poised to feature interviews, nostalgic moments, and memorable reunions.
TelevisaUnivision was formed through the merger of Univision and the entertainment division of Mexican telecommunications giant Televisa, a $4.8 billion agreement that concluded in 2022.
