Ted and John Are Back for Senior Year: Check Out the Season 2 Trailer of Your Favorite Foul-Mouthed Teddy Bear
Peacock Unveils Red Band Trailer for Season 2 of ‘Ted’
Peacock has released the official red band trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Seth MacFarlane’s animated series Ted, which features the famous foul-mouthed teddy bear.
Set in the 1990s, the new season finds Ted, voiced by MacFarlane, navigating life after his initial fame. He resides in Framingham, Massachusetts, with his best friend, 17-year-old John Bennett, portrayed by Max Burkholder. The two live with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (played by Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach, respectively), as well as cousin Blaire, portrayed by Giorgia Whigham. Matty is characterized as a loud, blue-collar Bostonian who often clashes with his liberal niece, while Susan is depicted as nurturing and almost excessively sweet, in stark contrast to their outspoken college student relative, Blaire.
The season, taking place in 1994, follows John and his upcoming graduation as he grapples with the lack of a girlfriend. Ted attempts to assist John in finding romance, leading to a series of comedic escapades.
MacFarlane serves as the writer, director, and co-showrunner, alongside executive producers Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh. Additional executive producers include Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, and Aimee Carlson from Fuzzy Door. Ted is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, in collaboration with MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and MRC.
Ted Season 2 is set to premiere on Thursday, March 5, exclusively on Peacock.
