Glenn Close Reflects on Fatal Attraction Rewatch
In a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Glenn Close discussed surprising revelations after rewatching her iconic 1987 thriller, Fatal Attraction. Close, who is currently promoting the upcoming Ryan Murphy legal drama All’s Fair, hosted a screening of the film at Kim Kardashian’s home, prompting a nostalgic revisiting of her performance.
During the screening, Close noted her astonishment at how much of her body was visible in the film. "I hadn’t seen it in a very long time," she explained, recollecting memories from the production. "I mean, memories flew back into my mind, especially I didn’t know that I showed my breasts so much. I mean, they weren’t anything spectacular to see, but they were visible."
This moment of self-reflection stirred discussions among attendees about the film’s direction and its relevance today. "I shocked myself," Close remarked, adding, "It was wonderful to realize that the movie holds up incredibly well. In fact, I think there’s almost a whole cultural shift since that movie came out. It was a very special evening."
Kardashian also shared her thoughts on the film, stating, "It was insane, from the outfits to the boobs to the—," to which Close humorously responded, "I like that she says outfits first." Kardashian highlighted the enjoyment of hearing Close’s insights and memories linked to specific scenes.
Close plays Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction, a character whose obsession with Michael Douglas’s Dan Gallagher leads to dramatic consequences. Her performance earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Reflecting on the event, Kardashian recalled her excitement as scenes unfolded. "I remember I went to go use the restroom, and they paused it because something was coming," she said, expressing her amusement at Close’s commentary throughout the film.
With a legacy cemented in Fatal Attraction, Close’s reflections resonate with audiences as both the film and its themes continue to provoke thought decades later.
